At the Lycée Français International de Dhaka the school council
1. Vote on the school rules
2. Adopts the school project and the school calendar
3. Gives an opinion and makes suggestions on the functioning of the school and on all questions concerning school life: integration of disabled children, school catering, school hygiene, child safety, etc.
4. Commits to organizing complementary, educational, sporting or cultural activities
5. May propose a project for organizing exceptional school time
It meets once a quarter and allows the various stakeholders in school life to meet and consult. The participation of elected parents is important because it allows them to better understand school life and thus explain it to other parents.
