Registration fee :

The EFID collects registration fees to be paid for any student newly registered at the school. The amount of these fees is payable in full, upon first registration at school and regardless of the date of registration of the child at the EFID. These rights will not be transferred under any circumstances.

Payment date: at the time of registration request; the child being deemed registered only after effective payment of registration fees.

Amount: €2000 for 1st child, €1250 from 2nd child (all classes)

Membership of the parents’ association

Families will have to pay an annual entry fee to the EFID parents’ association, regardless of the child’s registration date at school. The amount of this right is subject to review each year. These rights will not be transferred under any circumstances.

Payment date: at the time of registration request.

Payment dates:

Payment of tuition fees for Nursery, Primary and Secondary classes is spread as follows:

1st payment From August 1 to 31
2nd payment From January 1 to January 31

 

Tuition fee rates for the year 2023-2024

The amounts of the registration fee, membership in the parents’ association and tuition fees are voted on each year by the board of directors (CA) in June.

Tuition fees are calculated on a quarterly basis. They can nevertheless be paid for the year (2.5% reduction is then granted on the annual amount). Penalties of 2% per month are applicable due to late payment.

In the event of registration or re-registration during the term, tuition fees will be calculated in proportion to the number of weeks of validated courses.

In the event of early and permanent interruption of schooling during the term, tuition fees will be reimbursed in proportion to the number of weeks of lessons not taken.

Parents can pay the fees in euros or in US dollars (the rates being calculated at the Chancellery rate on the day of payment) as well as in taka (special case).

All payments can be made by check or transfer, or in cash at the school bank.

Fee reduction:

A reduction is granted to families from the 2nd child registered with the EFID

  1. 5% for the 2nd child
  2. 10% from the 3rd child and above…

Tuition fees cover:

  1. schooling
  2. the loan of school textbooks. In the event of damage or loss, compensation for the damage suffered may be requested from the parents.

Not included in tuition fees:

  1. small school supplies (pens, rulers, etc.)
  2. registration with the CNED including shipping costs and exam registrations
  3. a contribution to any costs incurred by outings or visits
  4. participation in optional workshops (extracurricular activities)
  5. monitoring of the canteen.
