At the French International School of Dhaka (EFID), decision-making at its highest level is the responsibility of the Board of Directors, whose members are parent volunteers from the School.
The functions of the Board of Directors relate to three essential aspects:
1. He formulates, supervises and defends the school’s mission, defines the long-term objectives and the strategy which will enable them to be achieved.
2. He supports and controls the activity of the head of the establishment to whom he delegates the management of the school. It sets the institutional rules which guide the head of the establishment in his action.
3. He is responsible for the financial health of the establishment.
Composition of the Council:
Elections: once a year in April – members are elected for one year. CA Meetings: The council meets once a month during the school year. The minutes of each meeting are available at the secretariat.
